Teaching Experience

Medical School Teaching:
2008-2009   PTG461 Introduction to Pathology Practice (4th year Medical Students, elective, 10 students yearly).
                  Provide daily guidance into a broad introduction in the practice of pathology in the art of gross description,
                  microscopic evaluation and diagnosis.

2008-2009	  PTG463 Neuropathology (4th year Medical Students, elective, 2 students yearly).  
                  Provide the student an intense exposure to neuropathology. The student participates with the staff
                  neuropathologists in full work-up of neuropathology cases including gross description, microscopic
                  evaluation,and diagnosis of normal neurological anatomy and neurological disorders, as well as, 
                  function as a consultant in the clinic and laboratory under the supervision of the faculty and house staff.  

2008-2009	  PTG467 Survey of Pathology Practice (4th year Medical Students, elective, 9 students yearly). 
                  Provide a broad introduction in the practice of pathology built around interaction with clinicians,
                  pathologists, residents, and technical staff.  This elective is designed to offer each student an
                  opportunity to gain an introductory understanding of the practice of clinical and anatomic pathology.

Interdisciplinary Teaching:
• Tumor Board Interdisciplinary Patient Care Conference (weekly conference involving Surgery, Pathology, and Radiology)
      • Conduction and Presentation of Pathology Component

Hobbies

My passion, outside of medicine, is the fine arts. I play the piano and French horn.
