Teaching Experience

Medical School Teaching:
2009-2010	   PTG461 Introduction to Pathology Practice (4th year Medical Students, elective, 16 students yearly).  
                   Provide daily guidance into a broad introduction in the practice of pathology in the art of gross description, 
                   microscopic evaluation and diagnosis.

2009-2010	   PTG462 Topics in Pathology (4th year Medical Students, elective, 8 students yearly).  Designed to be 
                   undertaken in one section of the laboratory and may be taken with a clinical or research emphasis. 
                   Individualized specific objectives will be developed prior to the rotation. 

2009-2010	   PTG467 Survey of Pathology Practice (4th year Medical Students, elective, 11 students yearly). 
                   Provide a broad introduction in the practice of pathology built around interaction with clinicians,
                   pathologists, residents, and technical staff.  This elective is designed to offer each student an 
                   opportunity to gain an introductory understanding of the practice of clinical and anatomic pathology. 

Spring 2010 CAN640 Clinical Rotations in Surgery, Radiology, and Pathology 
	   (Graduate Students, shadow grossing procedures and techniques)
                   22 students, Jan – May, daily
